Kalocsa, which is an atmospheric historical town lying along the middle bank of River Danube, is as old as the history of Hungarian statehood, and it has also been one of the citadels of Hungarian Catholicism for centuries.
The town is a real treasure-house of almost invaluable religious relics which can be viewed by visitors in the Archiepiscopal Treasury, Archiepiscopal Library as well as the Main Cathedral. The region is worthily famous for its handicraft and folk art, which can be proven by a visit to the House of Folk Arts.
Spice paprika made this tiny lowland town world-famous, let us make you familiar with the ’red gold’. At the end of the city tour our guests enjoy a wonderful organ concert in the cathedral.Duration 3 hours
